I’m a little sad about the fact that we made no good photos of my Atolicostume. But a few are online now.
I will wear this costume again on this years GamesCom in Cologne in August. Looking forward to this because I loved Atoli, especially me as Atoli! 8D

Well, Leipzig Book Fair was the first con 2009. I think it was very enjoyable, although Kythzia decided not to go there with me. So, I was a lonely Atoli without my Shino. That was very sad. But I met nice people, old friends and new ones.

But I have to say, that I was very tired the whole weekend. On Friday I had to work till afternoon and the night before I finished my costume. So the journey to Leipzig was long and exhausting. The hotel was nice and the food was good and cheap. :)

All in all the Leipzig Book Fair was a good start into this cosplay-year 2009!

Merry X-Mas and a Happy New Year

This was our forth convention and I think we can say that it was a big hit. We never expected that we’d be recognized by that many people as Sonic the Hedgehog characters aren’t the most popular ones when it comes to cosplay.

Okay, so we met many wonderful people/cosplayers that we can now call our friends and considering that we thought nobody could tell who we were cosplaying, we’ve been photographed pretty often. Unfortunately we’ll never get to see those pictures since they were all taken by civilians. That’s why we’re planning on doing a little shooting by ourselfs within the next few days.

Most important thing we’ve come to know: Never add sherbet powder to coca cola (nor to pepsi cola) or else your cosplay could get wet and ruined. (Though it’s fun anyway! 8D)

Description: Ich mag es sehr…aber ich brauche unbedingt mindestens 10cm mehr Bein. ;___; Also zuallererst mal wieder einen rießen Dank an meine liebe Omi, die mir mal wieder alles feinst säuberlich zusammengenäht hat, weils die Stichplatte der Nähmaschine zerhauen hatte. Mitten unterm Cosplaynähstress. Das war ja klar. Naja, jedenfalls hab ich alles geschnitten und gesteckt und bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten (da war die Maschine noch heile) hat sie mir alles höchst professionell genäht. Am liebsten mag ich die Schürze. Ist dadurch wohl bisher auch das sauberste Cos, das ich habe. ;D Und für dieses Jahr bisher mein liebstes! Ich nehms auf jeden Fall auf in meinen Favoliste. Vor allem wegen meinem leckeren Kuchentablett! Die Törtchen waren aus FIMO, bemalt mit Acrylfarben. Eigentlic wollte ich ja fertige Petitfours-Attrappen kaufen aber die waren mir dann doch zu teuer. Die Erdbeeren aus plastik, geklaut aus Mamas Küchendeko ;D. Und der Tee war Eistee mit Gelatine anerührt. Durch den Regenschauer zwischendurch wurde er leider vernichtet! xD

Zum Chara. Ich mag Rei total gerne. Leider passt sie nicht wirklich zu mir. Rei ist klein und zierlich und ich eher so ne Matrone. xD Aber das ist mir egal. Wollte dieses niedliche Kleidchen von ihr trotzdem unbedingt machen als ich es gesehen hab. Die Originalversion ist ja etwas dunkler und hat eine gelbe Schleife um den Hals. Aber diese Variante hat mich mehr angesprochen und ich finde die Farben passen auch besser zu der blassen Ayanami-chan mit den purpur Augen.
Apropos Augen…mein erstes Cos mit Kontaktlinsen. War das ein Theater bis ich welvche gefunden hab, die mir gefallen haben! Eigentlich wollte ich ja billige importieren lassen abere bei meinen Augen bin ich empfindlich und wollte dann doch zum ausprobieren lieber deutsche Markenware haben. ^^° Dafür waren sie ziemlich teuer und halten nicht besonders lang. Naja, egal, bis Oktober werden sie trotzdem noch genutzt! Aber jeden Tag wollt ich sowas auch nicht tragen. Dachte ständig ich hätte was im Auge (hatte ich ja auch) und das Sichtfeld war so eineschränkt. Und bis ich beide drin hatte verging auch ne halbe Stunde. Kaum hatt ich es endlich geschafft sie in Auge zu setzen ohne zu blinzeln, blieb sie an meinem Finger kleben nd kam wieder mit raus… -___-” Beim rausmachen hats ähnlich lang gedauert! Letztendlich waren sie auch ein wenig zu dunkel. Dennoch bin ich sehr zufrieden!
